Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (MCIT), Government of India has conferred “Award for Excellence in Electronics 2002-2003” to Information Technology Centre (ITC), the computer training segment of Anoopam Mission being the Best “O” Level Training Centre in India. Currently there are more than 700 DOEACC “O” Level Accredited Centres across the country.

On September 16, 2004, Mr Thiru Dayanidhi Maran, Minister, Communication and Information Technology, Government of India, conferred the Award to ITC during a grand ceremony at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi.

It was mentioned by the MCIT in the citations that ITC is maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure for training, in keeping with state-of-the-art developments in the field of Information Technology and also excellent performance in achieving the best results in examinations. The Excellence award is conferred in recognition of the overall excellent performance of the Institute.

In order to boost the morale of the industry and to encourage them to strive for excellence, the MCIT declares “Award for Excellence in Electronics” every year since 1990 in various areas of Electronics and Information Technology. The awards for “Human Resource Development in Information Technology” are given to best run DOEACC “O” and “A” level institutes since 1995. ITC has achieved this Award for Third time out of 8 awards declared. ITC is the only institute of Gujarat State conferred with this award till date. Additionally ITC is conferred with “Commendation Certificate” by DOEACC Society (the accrediting body), which is being awarded to all leading institutes of the country, every year since 1995. ITC’s “O” Level students have won Students Project Competitions three times out of four competitions being organized by DOEACC Society.

This exemplary achievement is the result of the perfect Teamwork at ITC. The ITC Team consists of Dedicated Faculties and Staff, Hardworking Students, Determined Administrators, Guidance of Experienced Elders, DOEACC Society and most importantly Grace of Lord Swaminarayan and Blessings of Guruvarya Param Pujya Saheb, the Inspirer.
